First visit today and it's straight away one of my favourite bars in the city. Beautiful bar with a nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Food was great, loved the Anchovy on toast (so good I immediately ordered another) as well as the Asparagus tempura. Gilda was also tasty and I enjoyed the tortilla. Drinks were good value for money and they had lots of outdoor seating. Highly recommended

After along day of museum hopping, it was time to sit down, relax, have a drink and something to eat.
Bar Santa Ana as the winner. They had a few available seats outside so we grabbed them.
First was a beer for the hubby and I had a tinto (it's similar to a Sangria but no fruit). Both were cold and super refreshing on a warm fall day.
We then ordered, a half portion (media) of Bravas Santa Ana, a montadito pringa ( it's like a puller pork sandwich), and a montadito gambas (a shrimp sandwich).
The potatoes were amazing except we would have liked the sauce a bit spicy. Because of the way these potatoes are prepared, there are lots of crispy edges.
Both sandwiches were delicious except the shrimp one had a bit too much mayo.
It was a great place to stop and have a bite.
It was pretty busy and service was slow. But the food was good. They have a great menu, with lots of options.
Would I eat here again? For sure.
